Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Principal's Welcome
Welcome to Broke Public School.
Choosing a school is one of the most important decisions a family makes, and I am honoured that you are taking the time to learn more about ours.
Broke Public School is a place where children are encouraged to be themselves, to ask questions, to embrace challenges and to discover what they are capable of. As Principal, my commitment is simple: to ensure every decision we make is centred on what is best for our students and their learning.
One of the greatest strengths of our school is our size. Being a small rural school means we have the time to truly know every child—their strengths, their interests, their aspirations and the support they need to thrive. We celebrate each student's individuality while maintaining high expectations for learning, growth and achievement.
I believe that every child deserves opportunities that inspire them to dream beyond what they already know. Through our place within the Singleton Learning Community and the Singleton Small Schools network, our students enjoy a rich range of experiences including leadership, sport, creative and performing arts, STEM, environmental education and collaborative learning with neighbouring schools. They benefit from the close connections of a small school while accessing opportunities that broaden their horizons.
Education is strongest when schools and families work together. We value the trust our families place in us and believe that open communication, genuine partnerships and a shared commitment to children create the foundations for success. At Broke Public School, we are building more than successful learners. We are helping young people develop confidence, resilience, compassion and a sense of belonging so they are ready to contribute positively to their community and embrace the future with confidence.
Whether you are already part of our school community or considering joining us, I warmly invite you to visit our school, meet our wonderful students and staff, and experience the welcoming spirit that makes Broke Public School such a special place.
I look forward to welcoming you personally.
